大同黄花
  黄花,学名萱草,又称金针菜、忘忧草,属百合科多年生草本植物。黄花观为名花,用为良药,食为佳肴,与蘑菇、木耳并称为素食三珍品。大同独特的地理、气候、土壤特点,早就了大同黄花苗大苔繁、肉厚角长、七蕊色黄、营养丰富。现已开发出五大系列、一百多种黄花产品,打造了云尚萱、云小萱、御黄、大威皇等黄花加工产品知名品牌。
Datong Day Lily
The scientific name of the day lily is Hemerocallis fulva. It is also called golden needle vegetable or worry-free grass. It is a perennial herb of Liliaceae. The day lily can be used as an ornamental flower, native herb or food ingredient. It is valued as one of the three treasures of vegetarian food together with mushrooms and black fungus. The unique geological climate and soil conditions in Datong have endowed the Datong day lily with a golden color, fleshy buds and rich nutritional value. There are five major categories with more than 100 day lily products having been developed. A group of famous brands of day lily processing products such as Yun Shang Xuan, Yun Xiao Xuan, Yu Huang and Da Wei Huang has been formed.

大同铜器
  大同铜器始于春秋时期,距今已有2700多年的历史。大同铜器有宫廷御锅、工艺火锅、宗教供具、旅游纪念品、铜质餐具、茶具酒具、铜艺装饰等八大系列,三百五十多个花色品种。铜火锅是大同铜器中最负盛名的一种,其代表作《九龙奋月》采取镶嵌、浮雕与勾线相结合的工艺制成。
Datong Copperware
Datong Copperware was originally started during the Spring and Autumn Period (770BC-476BC) and has more than 2,700 years of history. Datong copperware has developed eight series with more than 350 varieties, namely royal family copperware, traditional copper hot pot, Buddhist gilt votive objects, tourist souvenirs, copper tableware, tea sets and wine sets, copper art products, among which copper hot pot is the most popular product. The representative of copper hot pot with the name of ‘Nine Dragon Flying to the Moon’ is made with a combination of techniques of mount, relief and copper-strip inlay.

广灵剪纸
  广灵剪纸源远流长,距今已有3000年的历史。广灵剪纸初唐时已具雏形,到明代形成独特的风格,遂沿袭至今。广灵剪纸以其鲜艳的色彩、生动的造型、纤细的线条、传神的表现力和细腻的刀法,独树一帜,自成一派,被誉为“中华民间艺术一绝”。2009年广灵剪纸被联合国教科文组织列入世界非物质文化遗产。
Guangling Paper Cut
Guangling Paper Cut has a history of over 3,000 years. Guangling Paper Cut appeared in an embryonic form as early as the begining of the Tang Dynasty (618-907) and fully developed its own character in the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644) and has lasted to this day. Guangling Paper constitutes a unique school in the world of paper, different from any other artistic tradition with its character of bright colors, vivid models, delicate lines, dynamic forms of expression and skillful engraving. It was designated as 'Unique Chinese Folk Art' and was inscribed in the name list of World Intangible Cultural Heritage by UNESCO in 2009.

煤矸石雕
  煤矸石雕的原料来自距离地面三百米、距今1.4亿年的侏罗纪煤矸石。煤矸石雕有平光刻绘、影雕刻绘和浮雕刻绘。其造型有动物、花鸟、仿名人字画、人物肖像、风景名胜。最具代表性的是取材于云岗石窟20窟的露天大佛,石中有佛,佛中有石。
Coal Gangue Carving
The raw material of Coal Gangue Carving is coal gangue deeply buried underground below 300 meters in Jurassic Period dating back to 140 million years ago. It has three types of carving, namely flat carving, shadow carving and relief carving. The motifs which are popularly used are animals, flowers, birds, famous calligraphy and paintings, great man portraits, historical sites and scenic spots. A typical carving is the Giant Buddha from Cave 20 of Yungang Grottoes.

康氏娟人
  康氏娟人是大同民间艺术家康巧玲将戏曲人物的脸谱、服饰、身段以及云岗石窟、华严寺各种佛像、胁仕菩萨、伎乐飞天以及戏曲人物的艺术造型用娟人表现出来。康氏娟人采用绫、罗、绸、缎、纱、绢、绉、锦等材料制成。随着制作工艺不断提高,产品不断更新,已经从原来单一绢人发展到大型彩灯绢人。
Family Kang’s Silk Figure
Family Kang’s Silk Figure is named after Kang Qiaoling, a folk artist in Datong. Her silk figures are inspired by Buddha, Bodhisattva, and the flying angels of Yungang Grottoes and Huayan Temple and Chinese traditional opera figures by combining facial makeup with the dress and posture of Chinese opera. Top Chinese silks and satins are selected for the production of the silk figures. With the improvement of craftsmanship, the silk figures have been upgraded from single figures to silk figure complex colored lantern in large-scale.

大同结艺
  盘扣,起源于契丹民族服装,最初用作固定衣襟或装饰之用。大同结艺根植于民族传统的手工盘扣技艺,主要产品有胸针、项链、耳坠、手链等手工饰品。在继承传统盘扣技艺的基础上,创新拓展了饰品,耳枕,家居用品等五大品类,上千个品种的产品。2017年大同结艺被评为是省级非物质文化遗产项目。
Datong Kont Art
Chinese knot buttons, which originated from the traditional clothing of the Qidan, or Khitan (an ancient nationality in northern China), were initially used to fasten the front of garments or as a decorative element. Datong knot art is rooted in the traditional handcraftsmanship of Chinese knot buttons. Its main products include handcrafted accessories such as brooches, necklaces, earrings, and bracelets. On the basis of inheriting the traditional knot button technique, it has innovatively expanded into five major categories of products, including jewelry, ear pillows, and household items, with over a thousand varieties. In 2017, Datong Knot Art was recognized as a Shanxi provincial intangible cultural heritage project.

广灵小米
  广灵小米属黍类作物,产地在海拔1200米以上高寒生态区,主要品种有大白谷、东方亮。清康熙时曾经作为朝廷贡米晋京,遂有“御米”之称。2003年广灵小米获得国家级绿色食品认证,脱皮后的小米颗粒光洁均匀、色泽金黄,煮成米饭或熬成稀粥,粘而松散、口感润滑、香甜可口、营养丰富,是米中佳品。
Guangling millet
Guangling millet belongs to the millet crop and is grown up in the high-cold region above 1,200 meters above sea level. The main varieties of Guangling millet include Da Bai Gu and Dongfangliang (Oriental Brightness). During the reign of Emperor Kangxi (1622-1722) of the Qing Dynasty, Guangling millet was once used as a tribute millet by the imperial court in the capital, hence the name ‘imperial millet’. In 20023, Guangling millet was awarded national green food status. The dehulled millet grains are smooth, uniform and golden in color. When cooked into rice or porridge, it is sticky with a smooth texture and sweet and delicious taste, and rich in nutrition. It is valued as the best among similar varieties.

恒山黄芪
  黄芪被中医药界誉为“补气之长”和“仙药之品”。浑源被誉为“中国黄芪之乡”,是道地药材“正北芪”的原产地。恒山黄芪生长在北纬39°,海拔2000多米的恒山山脉,土壤富硒,采用“人种天养”的野生抚育方式。黄芪原品、黄芪饮片、黄芪茶、黄芪酒、黄芪蜜、黄芪饮料、北芪菇等黄芪系列产品,畅销海内外,并出口美国、加拿大、日本、韩国、东南亚等地。
Hengshan Astragalus Membranaceus
Astragalus Membranaceus (Huang Qi) is a well-known traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) which can enhance the body’s disease resistance and immunity and regulate body balance. As the hometown of Astragalus membranaceus in China, Hunyuan County is the origin of Hengshan Astragalus Membranaceus. Growing at Mt. Hengshan, at 39° north latitude, 2,000 meters above sea level and rich in selenium in the soil, Hengshan Astragalus Membranaceus has adopted ‘nature nurturing and artificial planting’. A large number of astragalus membranaceus products such as astragalus membranaceus raw material, decoction pieces, tea, liquor, honey, soft drinks, mushroom etc. are popular in the domestic market and have been exported to international markets such as the USA, Canada, Japan, Korean, south east Asian etc.
