4. 大同长城 | Datong Great Wall

大同长城总长度达 493
公里，是长城建筑精美、
体例齐全、军事防御体系
完备的重要区段，是一座
天然的长城文化博物馆。
大同长城的修建可以追溯
到 战 国时 期， 从 公 元前 4
世纪到公元 18 世纪，经历
9 个朝代。大同境内现存
长城主要修建于明朝，包
括内长城和外长城两个部
分，沿线连绵分布着近百
座城堡和近千处烽火台。
大同长城一号旅游公路总
里程达 1246 公里，包含
慢行系统、服务系统、景
观系统和信息系统，其中
慢行道 110 公里、驿站 18
个、房车营地 13 个和观
景台 25 个。
With a total length of 493 kilometers, the Datong Great Wall is a very
important section along the Great Wall with its magnificent architecture,
variety and comprehensive military defensive system, thus, Datong has the
reputation of being ‘the Great Wall Culture Museum’. The Great Wall in
the Datong section can be dated back to the Warring Sates Period (475BC-
221BC) and was built between the 4th Century and the 18th Century under
nine successive Chinese dynasties. The remains of the Great Wall in Datong
were mostly constructed during the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644) and comprise
outer and inner walls with hundreds of ancient fortresses and thousands
of beacon towers. With a total length of 1,246 kilometers, Datong Great
Wall No. 1 Tourist Highway is supported by a slow-walking system, service
system, observation decks system and information system which includes 110
kilometers of slow-walking lanes, 18 service stations, 13 caravan campsites and
25 observation decks.
