御东新区五大场馆
Five major venues in Yudong New District

御东新区五大场馆位于风景优
美的文瀛湖西畔，由来自中、英、
美、德、日、法、澳的众多世界顶
级设计师担纲设计。博物馆的设计
理念为龙文化和石窟文化相结合，
与大同火山群的地貌特征相暗合，
体现了 “ 胡汉交融 ” 的文化特征。
大剧院的外形像一座连绵起伏的山
岭 , 其中将大剧院的大空间包裹起来的大屋顶最具特色。美术馆最独特的设计元
素之一就是其金字塔式几何外形。图书馆在外部和内部空间营造出层次叠加的立
体感和雕塑感。体育中心由体育场、体育馆、游泳馆及综合训练馆四个单项建筑
组成。其中可容纳三万人的体育场，总体为不规则椭圆形，由 51 片大小、形态各
异的 “ 花瓣 ” 构成。御东新区五大场馆已成为大同的文化新地标。
Located in Yudong Newly Developed Area and to the west of Wenying
Lake with beautiful landscape, there is an architecture complex of five
new buildings designed by world famous architects from China, the UK,
the USA, Germany, France, Australia. Taking the geomorphic feature of
Datong volcano, the design concept of Datong City Museum is combination
of the cultural of dragon and Buddhist cave temple which reflecting the
cultural characteristics of integration of Han Nationality and northern and
western minority nationalities. The appearance of Datong Grand Theater is
meandering mountain ranges. A huge roof which cover the whole theatre is
the most characteristic of the whole architecture. The unique design concept
of City Gallery is its geometrical shape of pyramid. The stone clad facades
and interior space of city library create overlapping three-dimensional effect
and sculpture effect. Datong Sport Center is constituted with four unit
building, namely stadium, gymnasium, swimming center and comprehensive
training center. The stadium can host 30,000 people. The layout of the
stadium is irregular ellipse constituted with 51 pieces 'petal' in different
size and shape. Architecture complex of five new buildings has become the
cultural landmark of Datong.
